Michael Kingsbury is a London-based writer, director and actor.

 

He trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama and worked extensively as an actor in theatre and television. His work as a director and writer has encompassed Off-West End, regional theatre, Number 1 touring and West End.

 

Recent productions include Maggie and Ted at The Garrick Theatre (director), The Divided Laing by Patrick Marmion (director) at the Arcola Theatre, Contact.com at the Park Theatre (writer), Christmas by Simon Stephens (director) and The Picture of Dorian Gray (actor - Lord Femour).

 

He is currently in pre-production for Jumping The Shark, a comedy which he has co-written with David Cantor. The project received its first development run at the White Bear Theatre in 2019.
