Ying Tong
Michael directed Ying Tong by Roy Smiles at the West Yorkshire Payhouse in november 2004. Smile's fast moving, manically comic play explored Spike Milligan's attempt to come to terms with his demons in a psychiatric ward. Conjuring up his past, the play moved between Goon shows, encounters with ex wives, and frenzied debates with leprecauns! It was transffered to the New Ambassadors by Michael Codron and ATG in January 2005.
